The state has it's own anthem And also her own coat of arm even the fly over being constructed in the state capital is a mind blowing... The governor has even ear marked more projects to be carried out which if viewed from a stethoscope you would see that the state would be a more flourishing And results oriented state in the area of industrialization, agriculture, Global economic area And So on. NISSAN ROLES OUT FIRST IT HOME (NIGERIAN) MADE SUV

A buja —The first set of Made in Nigeria 4×4  SUVs will be rolled out by Nissan Motors in April this year. Chief Executive Officer of Nissan Motors, Carlos Ghosn, disclosed this to President Goodluck Jonathan on the sideline of ongoing World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Ghosn, who said the vehicles would be rolled out of the old Volkswagen Assembly plant in Lagos, noted it was possible to produce two to three million cars in Nigeria annually. According to him, this will lead to creation of thousands of direct and indirect jobs in the country. He also told President Jonathan that Nissan intended to increase its investment in Nigeria and establish its own production plant in the country. “We are interested in producing popular cars , totally adapted to the needs of Nigerians,” Ghosn told the President, adding that the company also planned to bring its global suppliers to make vehicle components in the country. NISSAN LAUNCHES PRODUCTION IN LAGOS Nissan has become the first major manufacturer to build a car in Nigeria in response to the Federal Government’s new  Automotive Policy. According to a statement from Stallion Motors, Nissan representatives in Nigeria, the inaugural vehicle, a black Nissan Patrol, rolled off the production line at the Lagos assembly plant, marking a key milestone in the company’s continued wave of expansion into the high-growth markets. In addition to the Patrol, Nissan also plans to produce the Almera and NP300, starting in early May and followed by mass production in August. With these three models, Nissan aims to be a significant player in the Nigerian automotive sector.
